WPS Affordable Tuition Plan

Whitehouse Prep Offers Financial Assistance to Hunterdon and Somerset Families in Early Childhood Education

Whitehouse Preparatory School is a well-established school for ages 2 and a half to 6 years offering Pre-school through Kindergarten programs.  Starting in the upcoming 2018-2019 school year, they are launching a new initiative called their “Affordable Tuition Plan.” This plan allows families to enroll their child in the school at a reduced fixed monthly price for the duration of their time at the school. The earlier the child enrolls in the school the greater the reduction in tuition.
According to the Founder of the school, Judith Serra, this Plan was developed in order to give some relief to parents who struggle paying the high cost of pre-school and day care and to make it easier for them to factor these costs into their budget. As stated by Mr. Serra, “we try our best to keep tuition costs as low as possible, but that’s a challenging thing to do when you are paying teachers and staff living wages along with benefits. Parents appreciate that a quality program may cost more, but what we find is that they really want is certainty in what the program will cost and to know that the cost will be locked in.” Such a commitment by the parents as well as the school is a win-win proposition for all parties.
Whitehouse Preparatory School is conveniently located on Route 22 in Whitehouse Station. The school is noted as one of the top ranked Pre-schools in Hunterdon and Somerset County and has a 4 Star rating by Grow NJ Kids. Grow NJ Kids, a New Jersey quality rating improvement system, is a program to raise the quality of child care and early learning across the state. Grow NJ Kids is part of a national effort to create high quality child care and early learning.
The “Affordable Tuition Plan” is a means of offering affordable childcare and an enhanced introduction into the school environment  through their curriculum and wide array of activities that are included with the tuition. Students who attend Whitehouse Preparatory not only receive a formal education under the leadership of Judy Serra, Head of School and Founder of the School, (with over 30 years of teaching experience), but will also participate in extracurricular activities including piano, guitar and violin lessons, sports such as soccer and karate, learning diverse world languages and acting lessons. Whitehouse Prep also provides After School Programs for its enrolled student as well as those in public school.
The Affordable Tuition Plan is committed to provide stability in childcare, flexibility for working parents and quality early childhood education. The program is designed to allow children to attend from the age of 2 and a half through Kindergarten and committed to keeping the tuition rates at a fair and reasonable cost throughout the student’s enrollment while still offering a wide array of activities to enhance child development. As some Hunterdon County smaller districts face closure and consolidation, Whitehouse Prep welcomes children of any local area to attend.
Whitehouse Prep classes are taught by experienced state certified teachers. All teachers have a Bachelor’s Degrees and have Tools of the Mind Curriculum training. Tools of the Mind gives teachers the tools to ensure every child becomes a successful learner, developing the underlying cognitive, social and emotional skills needed to reach his or her highest potential.
