KII Hosts Native American Village Day for Preschoolers

Our KII Class showed their understanding of all that they learned about Native Americans with a Native American Village Day in their room. The children created stations where they taught them some of the tasks that they would be doing as a Native American back in the time of the First Thanksgiving.  The children set up Native American tribe areas where they showed them how to bead necklaces, create pottery bowls, read native american stories, write and deliver messages using pictograph writing, pick veggies and fruit and make food at the campfire and go fishing at the river for dinner.  It was a fun filled learning time for all!
